Despite being a huge fan of hers, I actually almost considered passing this one up because of that title. (Okay, I lie. I love her books and even went through a past LSBC course. Like I would miss out on another masterpiece from Amy!) Anyway, now I'm starting to think that this title is kind of awesome. Perhaps being so marketing-friendly and not some deeper inner circle nod to folks who already are well-versed in the understanding she teaches, the book becomes more accessible to a wider audience. I kinda get tingles imagining someone accidentally stumbling upon this book thinking, "Hmm... maybe. Ok sure, why not...I have some No Rush Rewards credits to use up." It is a great, unique perspective on dealing with stresses, addiction, and self acceptance. I have a wide array of books on the subject which are all similar (REBT) where they tell you to challenge negative thoughts, where Amy gives a whole new perspective.
